    We all love having our four-legged friends go on adventures with us, but unfortunately they sometimes aren’t allowed everywhere we go.

    On the bright side, we rounded up a list of places you and your partner-in-crime can enjoy a meal or beverage. BoiseDev Eats Pet-Friendly Guide is here to share 35+ spots in the Treasure Valley that will make your pet feel special! 🐶

    This guide provides everything you need to know about where you can bring your dog to have an enjoyable dining experience. Dogs are people too, right?

    Aceros Boards and Bottles 

    Aceros Boards and Bottles is a unique restaurant serving many shareable boards and dishes. Located in downtown Boise with a great patio overlooking Grove Plaza, Acero is dog-friendly and even has wine-shaped treats for your furry friend! 

    BACON Boise

    BACON Boise is a very unique take on breakfast and lunch, with bacon being its specialty. Dogs are allowed on the patio and water bowls are provided. Although there is no dog menu, your dog can enjoy some of the signature bacon they have to offer (if you let your dog have people food, of course).

    Bacquet’s French Restaurant

    If you’re looking for a true European cuisine that is also pet friendly, Bacquet’s French Restaurant in Eagle welcomes all pets on the patio. Chef Franck Bacquet said it himself, “We’re dog people, so you risk that your dog will get more attention and better service if you bring them…haha…” Chef Frank also said although there is no dog menu, he’s been known to serve whatever he has for your furry friend. 

    Bar Gernika 

    Bar Gernika is a Basque pub and eatery that allows dogs on the patio right along the Basque Block in downtown Boise. Enjoy some croquetas, chorizo, or a tasty sandwich while your trusty companion hangs out with you.

    Barbarian Brewing

    Barbarian Brewing has two locations, a beer bar in downtown and a taproom in Garden City. Both are dog-friendly. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed inside, and both locations also have patios where pups and people alike can hang out. The Garden City location in particular has a large, expansive patio perfect when your pup wants to pawty with you. Accompanied minors are allowed at the Garden City taproom.

    Bert’s Brewing

    Bert’s Brewing is a brewing company in Garden City that allows dogs. It offers a variety of different craft beers and beverages and most importantly, has a welcoming patio for you and your best dog friend!

    Big City Coffee and Cafe 

    If you are looking for a place where you can bring your furry friend when you have a big appetite, then Big City Coffee and Cafe is the spot to go. Big City has a variety of food and drinks and most importantly, dogs are allowed on the patio. Water bowls are available.

    Boise Brewing Co

    Boise Brewing Co is all about good drinks and a good time. With a variety of beer options and a large finger food menu, Boise Brewing is all about the taphouse life. Most importantly, dogs are welcome so you can enjoy your dining experience with your pal by your side.

    Broken Yolk Cafe

    Broken Yolk Cafe is an all-day breakfast cafe that serves up classic breakfast options and signature specialty breakfast options as well such as chicken and waffles eggs Benedict. Best of all, dogs are welcome inside and outside on the patio so your dog can join the breakfast club!

    Caffeina Roasting Company

    Caffeina Roasting Company is a coffee roasting company offering many classic and specialty coffees. Dogs are most certainly allowed on the patio. It also offers individual packs of coffee for you to purchase to have Caffeina at home with your pet as well.

    Chop Shop BBQ

    Smoke-themed BBQ restaurant, Chop Shop BBQ in Caldwell, allows dogs on the patio outside the restaurant. Though there aren’t any dog-friendly food options, there are many different types of meat options for guests. 

    Cloud 9 Brewery 

    Cloud 9 Brewery, located on State Street in Boise, is a nanopub that offers many different kinds of beer, with a rotating menu. Your four-legged companions are absolutely allowed on the patio and can have a drink of water upon request.

    Clubhound

    Clubhound is a people-friendly dog park in Garden City. While your dogs are the star of the show here, there are “Human Perks” and local food and drink options everyday. From games for you and your pet to exercise sessions like dog yoga, Clubhound is every dogs’ dream staycation.

    Eureka!

    Eureka! is an all-American style restaurant and is also known for its wide variety of beer and small batch whiskey. The patio is pet friendly for well-behaved dogs and service animals are welcome inside.

    Fork

    Although Fork is all about the human dining experience, it does welcome pets on the patio. The menu offers an eclectic mix of foods for a unique, tasteful experience.

    Greenbelt Market

    Greenbelt Market has the perfect patio for to enjoy some time with your fluffy friend along the river. The store offers a wide range of beverages including beer and wine, snackes, beverages, and maybe even doggy ice cream.

    Goldstein’s Bagels 

    Goldstein’s Bagels located on 8th St is an authentic NY style bagel shop and loves dogs! Dog water bowls along with Goldstein’s Idaho Barkery dog treats that are custom made for the bagel shop. Jaime Goldstein even said it herself, “Dogs make us happy and we welcome furry friends!”

    Good Apple Taphouse

    Good Apple Taphouse is a craft beer, wine and cider place to bring your pet! With over 28 rotating tap options and over 50 beers in cans and bottles, Good Apple Taphouse is sure to quench your thirst.

    Green Acres Food Truck Park

    Green Acres Food Truck Park is an outdoor gathering place with food trucks, drinks, and live music. Pets are allowed anytime around the park, and certain food trucks might even offer special treats that are pet-friendly. Be sure to check Green Acres’ website daily since the hours and trucks are on rotation. 

    Highlands Hollow Brewhouse

    Highlands Hollow Brewhouse, a long-time microbrewery on Bogus Basin Road, has a sweet patio where your pet pal can join you. Enjoy burgers, sandwiches, crispy fries, and of course, lots of beer on tap. A pup patty is also available upon request.

    Heritage Hop Haus

    Heritage Hop Haus is a specialty drink bar and sushi house. Dogs are welcome on the patio at all times. Heritage Hop Haus is more than just a bar and it is sure to give you an unforgettable, unique experience. And best of all, your pet can be there with you!

    Hops & Bottles

    Hops & Bottles is a craft beer tavern and bottle shop located on W Grove St. It offers a plethora of craft beers and cocktails, but most importantly, Hops & Bottles is a great place to bring your pet! With a large patio and occasional live entertainment, you and your dog are sure to have a doggone good time!

    Hyde Park Pub and Grill 

    Hyde Park Pub and Grill is the one stop shop for food, family, friends, and sports, but above all, it is a place you can bring your furry friend! Hyde Park Pub employee said it herself, “We do allow well-behaved dogs and their well-behaved owners on the patio. We don’t have a specific menu for pets but we can always cook up a pup patty for a small charge.” 

    Lost Grove Brewing 

    Lost Grove Brewing is another brewery location that allows dogs on the patio. They have small bites to eat along with a variety of drink offerings, and even dog treats available for purchase at the Hyde Park location. 

    Louie’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant 

    Louie’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant has been a local, Idaho-grown restaurant for 52 years and allows dogs on the patio outside the restaurant. Though it does not serve any pet friendly food options, it does have an array of signature Italian options for pet-owners. 

    Lucky 13 Pizza

    Lucky 13 Pizza is a long-time Boise classic, that originally was located on 13th Street. Now located in the Barber Valley, Lucky 13 has an expansive patio, and is a great place to bring your four-legged friend. In addition to a full bar and menu featuring pizza, sandwiches, and salads, Lucky 13 always has water bowls out for pups and even offers doggie treats.

    Mother Earth Brew Co.

    Mother Earth Brew Co. serves up endless types of beer, wine, seltzers and more. It is extremely pet friendly inside and outside, and even family-friendly for kids as well.

    Payette Brewing Company

    If you’re looking for a pet friendly place to play some outdoor games and sip on something with your friends, Payette Brewing Company  has that fun, outdoorsy feel. Tap room tables are first come first serve, and the part-time food truck, Queens, serves quick bites. Don’t forget to bring your furry friend along for the fun! 

    Push and Pour 

    Push and Pour is a coffee shop that serves up fresh brewed coffee and espresso. Not only is it a popular spot for humans, Push and Pour is an extremely pet friendly place as well. You can bring your dog around with you, get special dog treats, and complimentary water for your pup pal. 

    Sid’s Garage

    Sid’s Garage is a big burger and elaborate shake restaurant. The Barber Station and Downtown Locations allows dogs on their patio.

    Solid Bar and Grill 

    Solid Bar and Grill allows dogs on their patio at any time. Water dishes are out and you can even order a plain burger patty for your fur baby! Be on the lookout for special dog treats as the staff sometimes provides them for your pet. 

    Split Rail Winery

    Split Rail Winery is another great place to bring your dog. With a variety of wine options to choose from and a welcoming environment, you and your dog are sure to enjoy your experience.

    The Lift

    The Lift is a bar and grill located on State St and is known for its enchanting patio. Pets are allowed on the patio with complimentary water dishes. Locals love this spot and rave about the atmosphere of the restaurant. 

    The Local

    The Local in Garden City is an eatery and wine pub that not only allows dogs, but offers a special experience for them. Pups are allowed on the patio at all times and are greeted with a water bowl and a treat from Idaho Bakery. The Local even has a dog menu for your pet so you both can have a bite to eat!

    The Sandbar Patio and Grill 

    The Sandbar Patio and Grill is an outdoor patio and grill restaurant located at the Riverside Hotel in Garden City. It is known for live music and lovely views. Well-behaved dogs are welcome anytime, and Sandbar is a family-friendly restaurant welcoming people of all ages. It is open seasonally from mid-April through October and does not take reservations. 

    The Stuffed Olive

    This Italian restaurant in Eagle has a patio where your pup can join you while you savor some delicious pasta. Rumor has it there may even be puppy ice cream on the menu.

    The Yardarm

    The Yardarm is an outdoor seasonal bar that offers many different drink options. It has a special sandy spot that gives it a beach-like feel and is a fun spot for both you and your pet! It even offers tacos from a local food truck while you enjoy a drink.

    Ti Amo Italian Ristorante

    Ti Amo Italian Ristorante is an upscale Italian restaurant in Bown Crossing that offers many different unique pizzas, pastas, and more. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on the patio and service dogs are of course welcome inside. 

    Tupelo Honey 

    Tupelo Honey is a southern style restaurant located downtown and is not shy about giving your pets the best restaurant experience. Dogs are allowed on the patio, and service dogs are allowed inside. But best of all, Tupelo has an entire dog menu for your pup to try! 

    Wepa Cafe

    Wepa Cafe is a Puerto Rican-style cuisine restaurant that allows dogs on the downstairs patio. It serves us authentic Puerto Rican food such as Mofongo, and Churrasco along with a brunch menu available.

    Western Collective

    With an Instragramable patio and creative brews, Western Collective is a cool spot to hang out and enjoy beer, slushes, original cocktails, and seltzers. The patio is dog-friendly, so don’t forget Fido!

    Westside Drive In 

    The nifty fifties restaurant, Westside Drive In, is an authentic, fifties-themed restaurant that encourages dogs on the patio. There is even a specific dog menu including bacon burger patties and a “doggy ice cream bowl” according to Joshua Aaron, son of founder Chef Lou. 

    Wyld Child

    Wyld Child is a modern-style casual restaurant in the Bench and is a great place for you and your pet to go on a field trip. It is located right next to Push & Pour Coffee shop and The STIL ice cream shop and are all great places to bring your dog.

    10 Barrel Brewing Company

    10 Barrel Brewing Company not only serves craft beer, but also serves some bar-style food. You can certainly bring your furry friend on the patio, and service dogs are welcome inside.
